WWIIGIS Open Maps Available - June 13, 2006

For the European and Pacific theatres of war, the WWIIGIS has implemented two early web-based maps based on the OpenLayers library. OpenLayers is “completely free, Open Source JavaScript, library released under the BSD License.” You can find the maps for the European threatre here, and for the Pacific theatre here.
